Sensitization programme for the Directors of RSETIs in Gujarat State

A Sensitization Programme was organized by Reserve Bank of India for the Directors of RSETIs of Gujarat State on 22nd January 2016, which was inaugurated by Sri Prakash Chandra Sahoo, Regional Director of RBI for Gujarat and attended by Ms Jyuthika Jivani, Regional Director, RBI, Nagpur and Sri S Thomas Punnoose, AGM & Faculty Member, College of Agricultural Banking, Pune. Sri K N Janardhana, NDR reviewed the performance of RSETIs and interacted with the participants. He also requested RBI to sensitize the executives from the Controlling Offices of Banks such as Regional Managers / Zonal Managers on RSETI activities. Sri H.R. Khan, Deputy Governor, RBI participated in the programme and addressed the participants.

Similar Sensitization Programmes / workshops were organized in Tamil Nadu at Chennai on 14.12.2015 and in Telangana at Vijayawada on 17.12.2015 by RBI, which were attended by the Regional Directors of RBI. NDR took special interest to apprise the Regional Directors of RBI about the functioning of RSETIs and the role played by NACER.
